Some yards just collect problems. Bare dirt, no drainage, weeds popping up everywhere - and every time it rains, the whole thing turns into a muddy mess you have to tip-toe through. That's exactly what we were dealing with here.
We laid weed barrier first, then covered the entire area with granite gravel. That combo does two things at once - it stops weeds from pushing through and keeps the ground from turning into a swamp after every storm. No more mud tracked into the house. No more avoiding that side of the yard completely.
We also set concrete pavers as a clean walkway straight through the space. It gives you an actual path to walk on without sinking into loose rock. And on top of all that, we carved out a dedicated spot for the trash cans - tucked in, out of the way, and easy to access without stepping over anything.
That's the part people don't always think about upfront. It's not just about making something look better. It's about making it work better every single day. Less mud, less maintenance, and a yard that actually functions the way it should.
Side yards, back yards, narrow passages between a fence and the house - these are the spots that get ignored until they become a real headache. Our landscaping projects cover exactly these kinds of situations. Simple, practical upgrades that solve a real problem.
