A lot of homeowners with iron gates have the same problem - the gate looks strong, but it doesn't do much to actually stop someone from climbing over. That gap between looking secure and being secure is exactly what we addressed on this job.

We welded sharp security spikes directly onto an existing iron property gate. The spikes run across the top rail and also along a side section, giving the gate a serious deterrent in all the right spots. It's a clean, permanent solution that works with the gate's existing design rather than against it.

The welding itself has to be done right. Poorly attached spikes can loosen over time, which defeats the whole purpose. We make sure every weld is solid and that the finished result looks intentional - not like an afterthought bolted on over the weekend.

This kind of work pairs naturally with fence staining, which we also do. If you're putting effort into a security upgrade, it makes sense to have the gate looking sharp at the same time. A fresh stain or coat protects the metal and keeps rust from becoming an issue down the road.

Security and curb appeal don't have to compete with each other. Done right, they work together - and that's what we're going for on every job.
